What is Reflection Zone?
Reflection Zone is a friendly zone to reflect on God's Word, His guidance in life, and His glorious promises.
Reflection Zone is the brainchild of Amelia Cummings who designs and paints the illustrations by hand.
The website and articles are managed by her mum Mary.
What is Self-Reflection?
Self-reflection is having the ability to analyse your feelings, emotions and actions.
It's a bit like looking at your reflection in the mirror to check that your teeth are clean (no green bits), your hair is tidy(ish) and your clothes look good. If you see anything you don't like, you usually fix it.
As Christians, we do the same with God's Word for our Christian lives and ministry (2nd Timothy 3 v 16; and James 1 vs 23-25).
God's Word provides guidance in our lives by showing us where we need to make tweaks, adjustments or even major changes to reflect Christ-like qualities in imitation of our beloved Heavenly Father.
As a visual learner, Amelia loves illustrating scriptural proverbs, principles and sayings so that they lift scriptures off the page into our hearts and minds.
We hope you love these illustrations as much as we do and hope they inspire you to continue showing love and deep respect for God's Word the Bible.

What are Affirmations?
An affirmation is a self-help strategy to help you build confidence in yourself. You've probably used an affirmation without even realising it, such as when you say to yourself "come on, I can do this!"
Affirmation statements are short statements you can memorise and use as often as you like to inspire or motivate you. If you use them often enough, they can even help you focus on a goal throughout the day.
Overall, they're a great way to get you into the habit of motivating yourself to be the best you can be. And by that, we mean your personal best - not in comparison to anyone else. Just be your own truly, gifted, brilliant self, and you'll be just fine.
